Cooking & Preparation
The food can be cooked either in a pan or a microwave.
For pan cooking, semi-defrost to separate the product then remove the product from pouch. Place product in non-stick pan with a little vegetable oil. Pan-fry the product flat side down and color until golden brown. Add 1/3 cup of water per serving and cover with a lid. Steam until the water evaporates to cook the gyoza through. Remove the lid and caramelize until golden brown. Carefully handle the hot product and serve immediately.
For microwave cooking, puncture top film of pouch 3 to 4 times with a knife. Reheat frozen product in punctured pouch in microwave. Microwave for 1.5 to 2 minutes on full heat or until hot throughout – do not overcook. Rest for 1 minute. Carefully remove the product from the plastic pouch and serve immediately.
